Logic First, LLC - began as an idea and a name, Logic First Computing, in 1988. The name became a URL in 1996, and the company opened for business in 1998. Off and on, Logic First Computing did personal computer repair and small business networking, until 2000, when the focus shifted to network security. Several years working to certify commercial networks that were to connect across the Army's NIPRNET proved to be, at times, frustrating, but invaluable experience for future work with the DITSCAP and DOD network C&A assignments. Logic First Computing became Logic First, LLC in April, 2006, with a focus on DOD IT security and IT compliance in the public sector. LF,LLC is a member in good standing, of The Greater Bowie Chamber of Commerce, since 2005.
HyperDog Technologies - materialized as a trade name for Logic First, LLC in March of 2006, as a direct result of HSPD-12 and the Army accelerated CAC/PKI initiative. "Find a need. Fill a need." A method was needed to prevent CAC cards from being left behind in workstations and the CAC-Leash® was born. Constant improvements and new ideas are the hallmarks of HyperDog Technologies. On September 12, 2006, HyperDog Technologies CAC-CAGE® Defender became only the 2nd Electromagnetically Opaque Sleeve to be Approved as part the GSA, FIPS 201 product evaluation and the 1st Approved EOS to be part of a complete solution to carrying, handling, protecting, and securing the governments PIV cards, with the CAC-Total Protection System!
